About

Gretchen Abernathy is an ordained non-denominational minister who has performed over 1,800 wedding ceremonies that range from intimate informal bride and groom events, to enormous six digit spectaculars. Gretchen has performed ceremonies on skis, horses, and in the Blue River; at favored Summit County venues Ten Mile Station, The Lodge and Spa and Mountain Thunder Lodge, as well as at Paragon Lodging private homes and condos.
Gretchen will dress to compliment the bridal party, but she prefers to wear her trademark cowboy boots in the summer. She is also Summit County’s official calligrapher, so your marriage license will be a keepsake document.
Depending on planning, location and the size of your wedding party prices vary. You can contact Gretchen by phone or email on the contact page.
